JACKSON COUNTY– Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug allegations.
Just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday., a deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a Chrysler Sebring for a traffic infraction near 102nd and U.S. Highway 75, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy discovered substances and items believed to be fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Kasandra Oleva Marie Alexander, 28, of Atchison was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of distribution of opiates opium narcotics or stimulants, possession of opium, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence.
