Woman accused of selling meth from rural SW Kansas home

HAMILTON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug charges after a drug bust in southwest Kansas.

 On October 6, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office in coordination with the Stanton County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant at 207 N. Maple Street in Coolidge, Kansas as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine, according to a report from the Hamilton County Sheriff.

During the search investigators recovered suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and additional evidence consistent with the distribution of controlled substances.  Deputies arrested 59-year-old Patricia Apodaca of Coolidge on requested charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of a Communication Facility in the Commission of a Drug Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Drug Tax Stamp.

They also arrested 69-year-old Claude Bezona (69) of Coolidge on requested charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
