KANSAS CITY —On person died in an accident just after 8a.m. Tuesday in Kansas City.
A red/black Honda CVR600F motorcycle was eastbound on Interstate 70 onto the exit ramp for Beardsley Road, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
The motorcyclist failed to negotiate the curve of the exit ramp. The vehicle struck the concrete bridge rail. The motorcyclist was ejected off the motorcycle and off the bridge, landing on the railroad tracks below.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. This is fatality #24 compared to #39 at this time last year in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Becchina.
