JOHNSON COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just before 11a.m. Wednesday in Johnson County.
The two vehicle crash that occurred on northbound Kansas 7 near West 47th Street, according to a statement from Shawnee Police.
Two individuals in one vehicle were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. They were not seriously injured.The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Shawnee Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit. Police did release names of the victims or additional details.
