KANSAS CITY —Authorities are working to determine the cause of an apartment fire in Kansas City.
Just after 12:30p.m. Friday, crews responded to a reported apartment fire in the 200 block of N. Clinton Place, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews found smoke showing from the three-story apartment building. Crews initiated an interior offensive attack using three handlines. Searches of the structure came back all clear. Heavy fire damage on the second-floor apartment with water and smoke damage throughout the structure. The Red Cross was ordered for 12 individuals. There were no injuries were reported.
