WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Law enforcement are conducting a death investigation involving a Kansas teen.
Just after 11a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the 300 block of Stewart Avenue after a caller reported an unconscious male in the area, according to a media release from Kansas City, Kansas Police. Upon arrival, officers located the individual in a wooded area. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim has been positively identified as a 17-year-old boy from Kansas City, Kansas. Additional information will be released pending the results of an autopsy and further investigation.
