
KANSAS CITY—The heavy weekend rain brought flooding to roads across the Kansas City metro.
Just before 6a.m. Monday, the Kansas City Fire Depart ment responded to 11 water rescues; most of which were in the typical high-water areas, according to Battalion Chief Riley Nolan.
KCFD responding companies assisted the parties out of their vehicles and over to dry ground.
No injuries have been reported and no there were no transports by ambulance.
