OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 10:30p.m. Feb. 25, an Osage County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop at 229th and K-368 Highway, near Vassar, for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, the deputy found narcotics.
The driver of the vehicle, Andrea R. Conus, 46, of Ottawa, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on requested charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Driving while license suspended and a Warrant. She has a previous drug conviction, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
