SHAWNEE COUNTY–Law enforcement are investigating three suspects including a wanted Kansas felon on new allegations after a traffic stop.
Just after 10:30 p.m. February 14, a K-9 Unit with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a black 1999 Acura TL passenger car near SW 11th Street and SW Prairie Road, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the investigation, the K-9 partner assisted and illegal narcotics were located.
Patricia L. Miller, 43, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections for multiple arrest warrants and the following additional requested charges that include possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and Possession of drug paraphernalia. She has two previous drug convictions, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Brian L. Kilburn, 47, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections (SNDOC) on requested charges of Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Driving while suspended.
