WYANDOTTE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 8p.m. Saturday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy Camaro driven by Tyler S. Bodde, 35, Leavenworth, was northbound on Kansas 7 Highway just south of Elizabeth Avenue in the right lane. The car struck a pedestrian identifiedd as Dakota R. Panzica, 24, Springfield, Missouri, who was crossing the roadway.
Panzica was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Forensic Medical. Bodde was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
