Just before 2:30a.m. Monday, police responded to the intersection of 8th and Fulton Street in Garden City where a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Joseph Huerta of Garden City struck a building, according to a media release.

The investigation revealed that Huerta was driving southbound on 8th Street at a high rate of speed and was unable to stop at the stop sign and struck the corner of Pro-Tek Dent & Windshield Repair, 202 W. Fulton Street.
