KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just after 11p.m. Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri.
A Honda Africa Twin motorcycle was eastbound on Interstate 670, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez. The motorcycle changed lanes in an attempt to take the Interstate 29/Interstate 35 entrance ramp from Interstate 670. As the motorcycle was changing lanes, it struck the right passenger side of an eastbound Dodge Charger. The motorcycle operator was ejected and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and front seat passenger of the Dodge were uninjured in the collision. This is fatality #44 compared to #52 at this time last year. The remains under investigation, according to Gonzalez. Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist.
