Kansas man accused of selling cocaine

SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged drug distribution. 

Just after 1p.m. Thursday, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a black Lexus near SW 29th Street and SW Wanamaker Road for an improper turn, according to Deputy Abigail Christian. The driver had a suspended driver’s license.

During the investigation, the deputy found illegal narcotics.

Shortly before 2 pm, a subsequent narcotics related search warrant was executed in the 6100 block of SW 26th Court. Additional illegal narcotics and paraphernalia were located.

Deputies arrested Julian L. Williams, 55, of Topeka and booked him into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of  possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, driving while license suspended and improperly making a left turn.
