KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating after a body was found under a bridge in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 9a.m. Wednesday, police were called to the area near 4th Street and Beardsley Road in Kansas City, Missouri, according to a statement from police. . The caller reported seeing what appeared to be human remains resting on the rocks under the bridge.
First responders confirmed the remains were skeletal, suggesting they may have been there for a significant amount of time.
Investigators have not determined the identity of the individual, a cause of death of if a crime was involved, due to the condition of the remains. Police secured the location as investigators and the medical examiner work to answer many questions.
