HARVEY COUNTY— Authorities have identified a Kansas man who died in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Saturday in Harvey County.
A 1999 Chrysler Sebring with Jacob Shrewsbury, 20, of Sedgwick and another individual was traveling in the 10,000 block of South West Road, according to a media release from the sheriff's office.
The Sebring left the roadway, traveled into a ditch, rolled and caught fire. Both individuals were ejected from the vehicle.
Shrewsbury was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff' offie. The other individual, a man in his 20s, was transported to Wesley Medical Center in serious condition. The accident remains under investigation.
