SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations following two separate incidents.
Just before 5:30p.m. November 18, a sheriff's deputy observed a black 2005 Cadillac STS near SW 6th Avenue and SW Topeka Boulevard, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Kansas City, Kan., after the owner met two individuals on a social media platform’s marketplace. They met at a gas station and the two prospective buyers asked to test drive the vehicle and never returned.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop and two individuals were placed into custody. Danielle L. M. Lee, 25, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections (SNDOC) on the requested charges Possession of stolen property; value $1,500 to $25,000 and Driving while license suspended.
Antonio S. Jones, 19, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the SNDOC on requested charges that include Possession of stolen property; value $1,500 to $25,000.
