KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 3p.m. Wednesday, police were called to report of a shooting in the 7800 block of NE 75th Court, according to Offier Jake Becchina.
First responders found a male shooting victim unresponsive in the front yard of a residence there. Officers summoned EMS to the scene who transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. A short time later the victim was declared deceased by medical personnel.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and took over this investigation. Preliminary information indicates that the victim had an interaction at that location with one or more suspects that led to shots being fired and the victim being struck. The victim appears to be a teen but his identification is not yet confirmed.
