SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for an alleged violent crime.

Just after 5p.m. March 1, police responded to a Topeka hospital after a victim arrived non-life-threatening wounds from an alleged knife attack that occurred in the 600 block of S.W. Taylor Street, according to a media release.

After an investigation, police arrested 29-year-old Nicole Elizabeth Henneke of Topeka and booked her into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on a requested charge of aggravated battery; domestic battery; and criminal restraint.
