
JACKSON COUNTY —A registered Kansas drug offender is back in custody after an encounter in the Jackson County, Kansas sheriff's office parking lot.
Just after 7p.m. July 12, a Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 48-year-old Rebecca Blackburn of Clay Center in the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office parking lot.
She was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of aggravated violation of the offender registration act, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blackburn has been listed as a registered offender since 2009 after a drug distribution conviction in 2007 and a heroin distribution conviction in 2017, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
