SHAWNEE COUNTY– Law enforcement investigating another deadly shooting in Topeka have identified the victim as Steven R. Warden, 43, of Topeka, according to Police Lt. Edward Stanley.
Just after 9:30p.m. Monday, police responded to the area of 13th and Western Avenue in Topeka.
First responders located Warden suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police released no suspect information or reported an arrest.
This is the eighth homicide of 2024 in Topeka.
