KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement arrested 79 people, including five related to homicides and 15 child predators during a citywide enforcement operation last week with federal partners, according to. social media report from the Kansas City office of the FBI. The child predators have been charged.
Efforts also targeted gang members and others related to violent crime.
In total, 79 arrests, 98 federal/state/municipal warrants cleared, 69 new charges issued, plus narcotics and cash seized.
Members of KCPD’s Special Investigations Division, Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Gang Enforcement Squad, Illegal Firearms Squad, Crime Gun Intelligence Center, and SWAT teams were involved.
