KBI agents find drugs, deplorable living conditions

JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations as part of an an ongoing drug investigation at 513 Kansas Avenuke in Holton.

At approximately 9:00a.m. Nov. 2, agents with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Jackson County Detectives, Deputies served a search warrant, They two suspects into custody on prior arrest warrants, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Stoney Brande Hards, 52, of Holton, was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant for probation violation.

Dacoeta Rose DeVader, 31, of Holton, was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Law enforcement seized a quantity of drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Local officials were contacted due to deplorable living conditions at the residence. Further charges in this investigation are expected.
