The FBI Kansas City on Tuesday reported results from their efforts to combat child exploitation and human trafficking during the World Cup.
According to an online statement, The FBI Kansas City worked with their law enforcement and public safety partners to secure the events in Kansas City.
The FBI shared real-time intelligence, enforced temporary flight restrictions, and surged resources to combat child exploitation and human trafficking. Officers made 19 arrests on state and federal charges. Nine children were found and nine victims were offered resources.
