JOHNSON COUNTY—A former school paraprofessional has admitted having a sexual relationship with a student.
In August, Kassidy Alexander, 27, was charged with unlawful sexual relations, according to online jail records in Johnson County. She is a former USD 232 Desoto school district employee at Lexington Trails Middle School.
On September 11, Alexander pleaded guilty to a single count of unlawful sexual relations with a student, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office. Two other counts of unlawful sexual relations were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
The charge involves events occurring from July 25, 2022, to March 2024, according to court documents. Alexander is accused of "unlawfully and feloniously engaging in consensual sexual intercourse" with someone 16 years or older, a student in the school, according to court documents.
