NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Midwest Freedom Convoy, part of the American Freedom Convoy to Washington, D.C., made its way through North Platte on Friday as it continued across Nebraska after arriving in Big Springs on Thursday. 

The group is rallying for the end of medical mandates and other things they see as government overreach. Residents covered at least four bridges that cross Interstate 80 just in the North Platte area.
