WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a bomb threat at KU Medical Center.
Just after 6:30p.m Monday, police were dispatched to assist K.U. Medical police officers on a bomb threat call, according to a media release.
K.U. officers advised KCKPD that an individual arrived to the entrance of the ER with what was told to police to be an explosive device. KCKPD set a perimeter and the bomb unit of KCKPD was called to the scene.
The device was determined not to be explosive. There was no danger to the public. Police have not reported an arrest or additional details.
