HARVEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a terror threat in Newton.
The Walgreens at 1300 North Main Street was closed briefly Friday morning after a bomb threat was called in to the store, according to a statement from Newton Police.
It was reportedly one of multiple similar threats in the state. Officers checked the store and determined the threat was not credible, and the store management made the decision to reopen to the public.
