JOHNSON COUNTY—Authorities are investigating the cause of a motel fire in Olathe.
Just after 11a.m. Thursday, firefighters contained a fire to a laundry room at the KC Motel 145 W Ott Street in Olathe, according to a social media report from the Olathe Fire Department.
There were no injuries. 28 people and 2 dogs were temporarily displaced. Red Cross assisting those in need.
