BARTON COUNTY —A suspect is under investigation for violent sex crimes.
Just before 10p.m. May 10, police were notified of a possible kidnapping of a juvenile, according to a media release from Great Bend Police. Officers and Barton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies began to search for the suspect vehicle. During the search it was reported that the victim was located.
After officers completed an investigation, police located 21-year-old Alejandro Castaneda-Cruz and arrested on requested charges of Kidnapping and Rape. He is being held ona $1,000,000.00 bond.
