
ATCHISON COUNTY —The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide silver alert for a missing Atchison woman.
The whereabouts of 77-year-old Janice Buttron are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her, according to a media release from the KBI. Buttron was last seen around 11:00 p.m. on Feb. 25 missing from her home near S 8th Street and Spruce Street in Atchison.
Buttron is on foot. Buttron is a white female who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, a long sleeve cream colored t-shirt, smiley face slippers, and wearing glasses.
Buttron has a condition impairing memory.
