KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating a double-fatal shooting in Kansas City.
Just after 7:30p.m. Thursday patrol officers were dispatched to the 8700 block of Blue Ridge in Kansas City on a reported shooting, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The call indicated two individuals were possibly shot in a parking lot. Upon arrival the officers located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel responded and pronounced both victims deceased. This is being investigated as a homicide. Preliminary investigation revealed there was an interaction in the parking lot that led to the victims being shot.
