GEARY COUNTY —A Kansas man died in an accident just after 6p.m. Thursday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2026 International semi driven by Christopher Robert Poare, 41, Wichita, was westbound on Interstate 70 approximately two miles east of Milford Lake Road. The semi traveled off the roadway to the right into the north ditch, reentered the roadway and rolled onto its top.
Poare was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
