With 2:17 left to go in the game, the SES defense took the ball away when Eli Harris intercepted a pass at the 16 yard line and returned it to the Beloit 16. Two running plays later, Bryant Banks scored his second touchdown of the night to put SES in front 18-12 with 48 seconds left. Southeast of Saline would score on the PAT as Gebhardt found Harris in the end zone for a two point conversion. SES would extend their lead to 20-12.
