JEWELL COUNTY — A two-vehicle accident east of Jewell Friday afternoon sent a Randall man to the hospital.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2010 Dodge Nitro driven by Joshua Buser, 29, of Mankato, was eastbound on Kansas Highway 28 approximately three miles east of Jewell when it drifted left of center. In order to avoid collision, a 1997 Freightliner driven by Caleb Ramsey, 33, of Randall, entered the north ditch, causing the vehicle to roll and come to rest on the roadway, KHP reported.
Ramsey was taken to Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Neb., with suspected minor injuries. Both men were properly restrained, the KHP report noted.
