A Salina man was arrested after two alleged domestic disputes within the past week.
Salina Police Detective Captain Gary Hanus said Friday that Dylan J. Reid, 29, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and aggravated domestic battery for incidents alleged to have occurred on Sunday and Thursday in the 1400 block of Oak.
In the Sunday incident, Reid allegedly threw a cigarette lighter at a 27-year-old Salina female, causing injury to her left eye, Hanus said.
In the Thursday incident, the woman reported that Reid pushed her to the floor, bit her, and put his arm around her neck, causing her to not be able to breathe, Hanus said. The female was able to get away and as she was driving away, Reid allegedly tossed a $10 flower pot in her direction, Hanus said. The flower pot broke in the street, he added.
