A 34-year-old Salina man was arrested in connection to an incident in which a shopping cart was thrown through the window of a local billiard parlor.
According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, Kiel Bale was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property, unlawful assembly, and interference with a law enforcement officer after an incident at Salina Billiards, 1215 W. Crawford, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Bale allegedly broke a flower pot ashtray on the patio area of Salina Billiards after he reportedly propositioned a bartender, Forrester said. Bale was then asked to leave the establishment. As Bale exited Salina Billiards, he allegedly threw a shopping cart through the window, Forrester said.
Bale was arrested a short time later in the northeast corner of the parking lot, Forrester added.
Damage to the window was estimated at $800 and damage to the flower pot ashtray was estimated at $10, he said.
