Seven windows were shot out by a BB gun at a rental property in north Salina and police believe it is connected to a case they worked in December.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Friday that on December 11, 2018, officers worked a case in which several juveniles shot out windows with a BB gun. While they were working the case, they noticed that seven windows were shot out by a BB gun and a back door broken on a rental property in the 1000 block of North Eighth, however, police were unable to contact the owner of the property, Forrester said.
The owner of the property, David Hadorn, 59, of Salina, reported the damage this week, Forrester said. Damage was estimated at $4,000, he said.
Because police believe the two cases are connected, they are in the process of contacting the juveniles who were a part of the other case, Forrester said.
