Leon Fief, Jr., 90 died January 15, 2019 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on January 27, 1928 in Clifton, KS, the son of Leon, Sr. and Amelia (Cyre) Fief. Leon was raised in the St. Joe, KS area. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the service, he made his home in Concordia. Leon married Bernice Adams on June 15, 1953. He attended trade school, studying heating and air conditioning. In 1958, Leon and Bernice made their home in Clay Center. Leon worked for Sears, owned and operated Fief Refrigeration and operated the Montgomery Wards store in Clay Center, retiring in 1994. Bernice preceded him in death on July 18, 1993. Leon was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the V.F.W. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Max Fief; 3 sisters, Leona Martinez, Jean Donovan and Theresa Brown; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Pfizenmaier.

Visitation: Monday, January 21, 2019 from 3-6 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home with Rosary being recited at 6PM
