The National Weather Service office in Wichita (NWSW) is forecasting frost for much of central Kansas in the early morning hours of Thursday.
According to NWSW, the greatest potential for frost is along Interstate 70.
Additionally, rain returns to the forecast for early Friday morning through the weekend.

Partly sunny, with a high near 53. West northwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph.
Areas of frost between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north northwest in the afternoon.
Rain after 1 a.m. Low around 43. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Rain, mainly before 1 p.m. High near 53. East southeast wind around 8 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.
