Marianne was born on July 30, 1957, at Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Joseph C. and Mary L. (Hay) Brezovan. She married William L. “Bill” Schultz on October 14, 1979 at Friendship Haven Chapel in Fort Dodge, Iowa. On July 21, 2018, Marianne and Bill returned to Friendship Haven Chapel to renew their wedding vows.
From the beginning Bill loved the dimples the came to her face when she smiled. Marianne was also everyone’s rock. Especially when she and granddaughter Erika leaned on each other during their times battling cancer.
Marianne loved to work on her family tree and when she did her books would be spread all over the table and floor. Marianne and a cousin traveled to Pennsylvania to research on her father’s side. She loved their dogs very much, especially Sassy who got to go everywhere they went. That little girl was spoiled. Marianne and Bill loved visiting Branson, Missouri, with and without their sons Josh and Tony. They took trips to Colorado many times. She enjoyed visiting the zoos and historical sites along the way. Marianne and Bill loved camping with her sister Linda and brother-in-law Tom. There are many more memories that bring a smile to the faces of those who knew her. She will be missed and loved.
Survivors include her husband Bill, her two sons; Tony Schultz of Waterville, Kansas, and Josh (Salena) Schultz of Frankfort, Kansas, a brother, Joe (Mary) Brezovan of Otho, Iowa, a sister Linda Rowe of Fort Dodge, Iowa, seven grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Deloris Schultz.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
