Michael D. “Mike” Will

Michael D. “Mike” Will, 65, of Salina, passed away at his home Saturday, March 10, 2018. Mike was born in Salina on April 20, 1952, to MaryJane (McGuire) and Ted Will. He married Susan K. Kinseth on Dec. 30, 1978, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Salina.

Mike retired from the Kansas Department of Transportation in 2001. Mike served his country as a member of the Combat Engineers Army then went on to the Air National Guard at The Smoky Hill ANG Range. He was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include: his wife of 39 years, Sue; daughters, Crystal J. Ponds (Jason), and Kristina J. Will; brother, Roger Will (Cindy); grandchildren, Braxton Aaron Will, and Gabriel Jerome Ponds; three nieces; and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Will; and sister, Della Bierman.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 304 W. Grand Ave., Salina, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

Memorials to: the Michael Will Memorial Fund, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina KS 67401.
