Users can learn how to use software programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Quickbooks and Java. Courses are taught by industry experts. An average of 60 new courses are added each month.
Because courses are online, users can access them at work, at home and on-the-go. Students can stop and start courses, review content they already covered or skip past content they already understand.
Library card holders can access lynda.com at www.salinapubliclibrary.org under “Virtual Library.” Any Kansas resident may obtain a Salina Public Library card by presenting a picture ID with current address or other proof of current address. Saline County residents may also obtain a card on the library’s website under “Virtual Library.” This card will allow them to access all digital library services. There is no cost for a library card.
