The Volunteer Connection, in partnership with the Kansas Volunteer Commission, is pleased to announce a professional development opportunity for volunteer leaders to be held in Salina on August 14, 2013 at Kansas Wesleyan University. Sessions will be held between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch. Topics to be covered include “Developing and Implementing a Volunteer Engagement Initiative” and “Effective Tactics for Volunteer Recruitment.”
Training materials were designed by Susan Ellis of Energize, Inc. and will be presented by staff of the Kansas Volunteer Commission. There is no cost to attend the training; however, you must register at www.KanServe.org to attend.
