
JOHNSON COUNTY —A portion of Interstate 35 in Johnson County Kansas was closed early Tuesday after a series of dangerous traffic incidents.
Just after 4a.m. deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a semi trailer fire and a two-vehicle rollover crash on southbound lanes of Interstate 35 at Gardner Road, according to a social media report.

One occupant of the car accident was transported for a minor injury, according to the sheriff's department. The cause of the semi fire is still under investigation. The lanes of the highway re-opened just before 6:30a.m.
