Unknown cause of Wednesday night vehicle fire in north Salina

The cause of a fire that destroyed an SUV in northeast Saline County Wednesday night is unknown, according to the Saline County Sheriff's office.  

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that deputies and firefighters from Rural Fire District #3  were dispatched at approximately 10:57 p.m. Wednesday to the 7200 block of W. Pleasant Hill Road to the reports of a vehicle on fire.

A 32-year-old man, Brandon Bloom, Salina, had parked his 2012 Chevy along Prairie Hill Road. The fire resulted in a total loss of $4,000. 

On Wednesday, July 5, at 10:57 pm, first responders arrived at a vehicle fire at the 7200 block of W Pleasant Hill Rd. The vehicle had been parked by its 32-year-old owner, a local resident.
