On Thursday, June 28, 2018, at about 5.45 p.m., a black female entered Sam’s Club, 2919 Market Pl, and provided a fraudulent prescription at the pharmacy. The pharmacy became suspicious and refused to fill the prescription.
A short time later, another black female entered Walmart, 2900 S. 9th, and presented a fraudulent prescription. They also became suspicious and did not complete the transaction. The female exited the store and entered into maroon Dodge Durango with a black male driver. Surveillance video showed a black Dodge Caravan following and parking next to the Dodge Durango.
At about 7:45 p.m., that same evening a black female in her 20’s, entered Dillon’s, 2350 S. 9th, and presented fraudulent prescriptions. It was also reported that earlier in the day, another female provided the pharmacy with the same fraudulent prescriptions. The female advised she would come back at a later time but she never returned.
The same suspects had also passed fraudulent prescriptions in both Manhattan, Kansas and Junction City, Kansas.
