On Thursday police were called to investigate a business burglary at 745 W. Schilling Best Western Plus that took place sometime between the 17th at 4 p.m. and the 18th at 8 a.m.
Captain Paul Forrester told The Salina Post that an employee came into work the morning of the 18th and noticed several items laying on the lawn of the hotel. Room 132 had been broken into, there were pry marks on the door, a 42 inch LG TV was missing and a lamp was knocked over and broken. The employee went into the server room to reset the router and discovered damage to that door. Total damage and loss is estimated at $1900.
According to Forrester, there is a possible suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
