This new program will introduce young children to basic artmaking skills and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of the arts. Children attend with a parent, grandparent, special caring adult, or caregiver for an hour-long workshop let by artists and designed for participants to work on at their own level. Children and adults will explore various artistic mediums such as painting, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking, and more. Integrating the arts into early childhood education can help develop observational, fine motor, and problem-solving skills.
