Two individuals were arrested in connection with the unauthorized use of a financial card.
According to Captain Sweeney, a woman contacted the police on Feb. 6, in reference to the use of her financial card for purchases without her consent. The victim had hired an individual to help around the house and make trips to buy groceries. The victim noticed three transactions estimated at $289.07 that she did not make.
Upon investigation, Jessica Hawk-Loughrey, 37, of Salina and Nicholas Beck, 27, of Salina were arrested for the alleged criminal misuse of a financial card. Both are facing charges of three counts of criminal use of a financial card, theft of prop/services; Value $1,500 to $25,000, interfere w/ LEO; False report felony to obstruct, and other charges.
