Bobby Bones returns to Salina tonight! 99KG’s Program Director Shane McClintock said, “For being a morning show radio show host, this will be one of the biggest shows the Stiefel has ever had! The show took approximately two hours to sell out. To my knowledge, only Harry Connick, Jr. and Willie Nelson have sold out the theatre faster. If you have tickets to the show, you are in for a phenomenal experience tonight!”
The host of the The Bobby Bones Show heard every weekday morning on 99KG will appear tonight at 8 p.m. at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts in downtown Salina.
Bobby will perform his Funny & Alone 1-Man Comedy Show along with a special acoustic performance by The Raging Idiots. Bobby and The Raging Idiots last performed in Salina in September of 2014.
Best known as “country’s biggest radio star” (CBS News), Bobby Bones has proven to be one of the genre’s most influential tastemakers, breaking some of music’s freshest talent while forging unchartered territory in his own career. What started for Bobby Bones and his friends as playing impromptu comedic ditties on local television, radio, and random stages has quickly escalated into a project with a deeper initiative. Playfully named “Bobby Bones And The Raging Idiots,” the group is comprised of Bobby Bones, Producer Eddie and other random friends to create laughs and now has the whole world singing and laughing with them. With proceeds from both Bobby Bones And The Raging Idiots’ releases and live shows benefiting charities, to date the group has raised over two million dollars for various charitable causes.
